Born in Sydney Australia, Daniel attained degrees in Media Arts and Screen Production forming the basis of his career as a filmmaker. His early film Zombie Slumber Party marked his first foray into international film festivals, followed in the next few years by his award-winning shorts Agoraphobia and Cyborg. Since then Daniel has used his gift for storytelling by writing and directing across film, television and commercials. In 2007 he became Head Of Production at World Movies Channel, where he created award-winning on-air content over the next five years. Since then he has worked in a freelance capacity directing commercials for high profile clients such as Sara Lee, Sydney Dance Company, Casio, Tropfest, Eurovision and more. Each year Daniel co-produces a three-part series on the Sydney Festival for SBS and was also part of the AACTA and AFI award-winning teams behind Black Comedy and Double The Fist for ABC. Daniel has recently completed his latest feature film, a collaboration with AFI award winning filmmaker Bryan Moses, which is due for release this year.
